The California Federation of Public Service Employees is committed to promoting and advocating for quality public services, government efficiency, and positive community engagement. The services provided by our members too often go unnoticed, unappreciated, and unrewarded. However, we seldom complain because we believe that public service is not just a job but a calling.

Our philosophy is to collaborate with the community and our employers for the benefit of those who rely on our services. Far too often, people engage in finger-pointing or frame it as an “us versus them” proposition. We believe we are stronger together, and by partnering, we can make our workplaces and neighborhoods an even better place to live, work, and call home. We collectively advocate for employee benefits, public transparency, government accountability, workplace efficiency, and quality public services.
