Stevevonna Evans is a dedicated public servant and the first African American woman elected to the Adelanto City Council.
Her background as a Community Health Worker and her firsthand understanding of the struggles families face have shaped her approach to leadership - centered on compassion, transparency, and action. As an elected official, Stevevonna has worked tirelessly to advocate for governmental transparency and accountability, promote economic development initiatives that create jobs, and address local water quality issues.
As the Executive Director of the California Federation of Public Service Employees, Stevevonna assists members with labor relations, grievance matters, representation, contract negotiation, and enforcement.
